Throughout the creative process of my designs, I have always prioritized getting feedback from others. Feedback is a crucial part of the design process. However, some feedback you have to prioritize over others. At the top of my list is the feedback from my mentors. This past week, I was lucky enough to get on a phone call with my mentor Lauren White, a creative director from Bingley Design. She gave me a ton of feedback. Her feedback ranged from tiny little color alterations to business concepts. One of the most interesting pieces of feedback she gave me was that she suggested I market my different lines to different industries. For example, she saw my "ENERGIZER" line in a sports bar, or gym. Before, I was always just going to market my designs to offices in general, but she opened my eyes to a whole new possibility.
